Tony Norris - Massey University
Tony Norris is Professor of Information Systems at Massey University, Albany. Tony's research interests are in the strategic role of information technology and information management in the health sector and include the cultural and business issues associated with the application of IT, data quality, privacy and confidentiality, knowledge management, and telehealth.
At Massey, these interests have been combined with expertise in the Information Systems Division to launch a Research Centre for Mobile Computing. The Centre has three themes, mobile learning, mobile business, and, incorporating Tony's own interest, mobile health with a focus on how we can use mobile technologies to improve the management of chronic diseases.
Before joining Massey University in November 2005, Tony was Deputy Head of the Information Systems and Operations Management Department at the University of Auckland having arrived in New Zealand form the UK in 2000.
