Accelerating Auckland is leading a strategic approach to future-proofing work skills and practice, by linking the work requirements of employers, communities and a dynamic job market, to training and skills development.

To support workers to get the skills they need to succeed, Accelerating Auckland is developing a web portal to link them directly to employers and training providers. iTRAC© (Internet Training, Retention, Achievement and Completion) is a web based talent tracking system, delivering skills and competency profile information, including student participation and performance data from education and training providers, to business.  iTRAC© enables a comprehensive view of the full “talent pipeline” along with a framework for aggregation and analysis, region by region and nation-wide.

Beyond our community based initiatives Accelerating Auckland works with tertiary students.

Digital Careers Expos connect both international students with support services and employers to support study and career choices, aligned with NZ’s future skills needs and become “work ready” for the New Zealand labour market. 

Growing Work Ready Graduates:  Building a pathway from tertiary education to work, through co-operative education. The research reviews current models; paid,unpaid,capstone,graduate, identification of gaps in transitioning graduates from academia to business, analysis of the impact on graduates and employers and development of a framework for the future.
